Firstly, the Hotel overnight in Naples (Hotel Grand Parker) was lovely and the booking was as planned. The transfer from Naples to the villa in Positano was on time and very professional. And we were met by the owner’s father as scheduled on arrival in Positano.
The Villa Andrea was ideal for two couples. It can accommodate 6 people, but the third bedroom is very small with tiny single beds. The kitchen, living rooms etc. were well appointed and the patio and view are simply amazing. It is a 60 step walk down to the front door from the street above, and 65 down to the road below, so it’s not for the unfit or elderly as they would struggle. The best thing we did was get a porter, $10 a bag, to carry our luggage up the steps on departure. A recommendation from the owner’s father and money well spent. The Villa is well situated with lovely restaurants within a 2-minute walk. The main shopping and beach is about a 20 minute walk downhill, but lovely views the entire way.
The two tours to Capri and Pompei were on time, very well organized, safe and very enjoyable.
The transfer provided by Jocoppo from Positano to Cortona in Tuscany was very good. Arrived about 45 minutes late due to an accident on the way, but kept in communication via What’s App, so all was good.
The Villa in Tuscany was outstanding, room for 10 people comfortably, again spectacular views across the valley towards the old city of Cortona and very peaceful. The services from HTT including daily drive, daily breakfast cook and 3 evening meals, with one being a cooking lessons, were excellent. Lovely people, good communication, safe and very reliable. It made that vacation one to remember. Now the road from Cortona to the Villa is rough, very rough, but the drivers handle it very well and part of the fun. The overall Tuscan package with transfers, breakfast, the Villa, wine tours and daily driver is tremendous and I can’t imagine anyone not enjoying that trip.
And the dinner at Al Tocco in Cortona was also amazing. I can see why Dean said is some of the best food he has eaten.
Anyway, wanted to give you some positive feedback on both packages and thank you for your time and effort in organizing for us. We had a blast.
